Inappropriate?same issue here

Inappropriate? This is ridiculous, how long does it take to update this. I am very upset at Nike+ right now.
I’m frustrated and angry
-
Inappropriate?Upgraded to 10.6.2 and all latest fixes through Software Update, and I do have the same problem. Other problems reported such as not able to show individual run graphs did not occur.
I’m having mixed emotions
-
Inappropriate?i'm more frustrated at MAC. thinking of going back to PC. I hear windows 7 is awesome
-
are you talking about a MAC address? you know, like every computer with an ethernet port has (even those little dinky PCs have them)? if you are not then it should be written "Mac". but now that I think about it, you'd be a great PC user:) -
Inappropriate? The manufacturer of the ScreenTime screensaver has a Leopard Snow compatible version of the development tool available. This means that the Nike developers (or the third party) now have a way to convert the downloadable screensaver for us Snow Leopards. See info at:
http://www.screentime.com/software/fl...
Let's turn up our "pace" just a bit in this forum, and they will have to start running at the Nike team ;-)
I’m still hopeful
-
Inappropriate?I also cant use screensaver on Mac. will not recognize username....says its invalid, tried email address as well....same problem
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? It would be nice if they fixed this sometime soon - as someone else mentioned, there is a Snow Leopard version of the screensaver engine.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? There isn't much point in Nike using a feedback system like this if they're not even going it acknowledge the problem!
Assuming someone is reading this, of course...
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Well something tells me Nike doesn't see any benefit in updating the screensaver.
It's not that they can't. It is more of a cost benefit issue.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I doubt it's anything as sophisticated as a cost-benefit analysis. I suspect it's just incompetence at this point. They clearly don't have staff reading this forum, and there's no one on their team sufficiently up to speed to proactively spot and address these issues.
-
I fuly agree with Graham's reply. How much cost-benefit analysis would it take to find out that a 400 USD product can solve the problem?
None. (Product at http://www.screentime.com/software/fl...)
If they would give me the source files I'd convert them at my own expense... And I'm not even a Flash developer.
P-R-O-A-C-T-I-V-E
Incompetence is the better guess. If they ever get past "uninterested" (my guess ;-)) -
Inappropriate?Such an easy fix, yet they seem to be ignoring their consumers. Yes it's a little thing, but a little thing that so many are so passionate about just creates negative word of mouth.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I tried.

@nikeplus says"We know that OS 10.6 users would like compatibility extended, but at this point we're not aware of immediate plans to do so. Sorry. :("
So they know, don't acknowledge until we pester them, and don't care about resolving the issue for Mac OS X users. Please know that the OS is at 10.6.4 now..
This is completely unacceptable.
I’m jaded by their horrible Customer Service.

Inappropriate?@nikeplus says:
@mpir Typically, we monitor but do not respond directly on the GetSatisfaction.com site. It's primarily a feedback-gathering channel.
-and-@mpir At this point, adding compatibility options to the Nike+ Mini probably isn't at the top of the priority list. I'm sorry.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?"Adding compatibility options" is apparently how they describe "making their software work on the default Mac O/S for the past year".
As stated earlier, it appears all they need to do is re-export the screensaver using the latest version of the builder.
