Km change to Mi everytime

Good Day. I'm In south Africa and we use Km not Mi. Everytime I log in my settings are on Mi, Then i have to go and change my region to USA to get KM. Also after doing that Everytime the page resets or reloads it goes back to Mi and i have to reset the region again.
